IT was a night that began with much optimism but ended in bitter disappointment as Celtic lost 4-1 at home to Sparta Prague in the Europa League.
Scott Brown admitted that it was a performance that fell way below the standards that have been set at the club over the past few seasons, and it was one that he and his team-mates took full responsibility for.
