Independent Pedaler dominate National 50

Kent team take women’s podium and men’s gold

The Independent Pedaler- Nopinz stamped their authority on the domestic time trial scene by dominating the women’s podium and clinching the men’s title at the National 50-Mile Championships.

Joanna Patterson led a one-two-three for the team in the women’s event while Chris Fennell added another gold medal to his collection in the men’s event.

Patterson made the long trip from her home in Renfrewshire, Scotland, down to Cheshire and triumphed with a personal best time of 1:51.35.
