Hughes stepping up in more ways than one

With the Bills desperate for a spark on the defensive side of the ball, Jerry Hughes has stepped up on the field in recent weeks. He’s stepped up off the field, as well.

Hughes received AFC Defensive Player of the Week honors for his Week 7 performance against the New York Jets. Against New York, he tallied six tackles, two sacks, one tackle for loss, one pass defensed, one forced fumble and one interception.
