From the CPU up to your precious graphics card, everything in your PC benefits from a decent PSU. The good units last for several system builds, even. So, if you make a good investment, you won’t have to spend extra money the next time you perform an upgrade. The way new processors and graphics cards are chewing through more power with each generation, that’s a legitimate concern. This means that you should plan to buy a reliable PSU with enough connectors to cover any possible upgrades.

Indeed the task’s not easy since the existing RMx units only counted three years in production and delivered excellent performance.
