A few years back, still and video cameras mainly catered to their designated genres without providing the portability and single-hand operation that individual vloggers demanded. Last year, Sony broke this tradition with the launch of the compact ZV-1 with a 1-inch sensor. Encouraged by the success of this hybrid camera, Sony has now introduced an interchangeable lens version of it, the Alpha ZV-E10, adopting many features from the ZV-1 for the vloggers who choose to push themselves further.
Design & Build Quality
The ZV-E10 design incorporates the features of Sony’s Alpha series APS-C cameras and the compact ZV-1. The front of the camera displays the Alpha symbol, differentiating this from the compact Cyber-shot. The protruding grip further carries the Alpha styling with the shutter release and a compact styled zoom lever around it, perched on top of the pillar. At the back is a fully articulated LCD along with the vertical control ring. The top is styled more like the ZV-1 with its flat, rectangular microphone grille and accessory shoe next to it. A background defocus button, a record button, and a multi-functional button are also included along with the power switch and main control dial. The camera has a polycarbonate exterior and features metal lens mount and tripod receptacle.
Camera: Sony ZV-E10

Key Features
The 24-megapixel ZV-E10 uses an APS-C (23.5 x 15.6 mm) Exmor CMOS sensor and accepts E-mount lenses. The camera offers JPEG and Raw formats in still and XAVC S format in video recording. Still images are recorded with maximum dimensions of 6000 x 4000 pixels, while movies can be recorded at up to 4K (3840 x 2160) quality in 30, 24 or 25fps.
