Products to Look For in 2021

New Nikon Z series

According to latest rumours circling around the mill, Nikon is currently testing 5 high-end, pro- camera bodies. There is a high likelihood that all these cameras are Z-mount mirrorless cameras. The Nikon Z8 and Z9 too might be a part of this line- up.

Here are the rumoured specifications for these cameras:

Nikon Z8/Z9 is likely to feature a 60MP full-frame CMOS sensor and the ability to shoot full-resolution images at 14fps with the mechanical shutter. Which isn’t surprising since the Z6 ii already has that capability.

Nikon D880 which is rumoured to be a replacement for Nikon D850. It would have a 60 MP image sensor, 16 bit A/D Model with a 5.76MP viewfinder, and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

One of the test models designed is also targeted for sports photographers. One of its headlining features is rumoured to be its higher than 20fps frame rate. Other features include an incredible Autofocus tracking system, 5.76 MP viewfinder and 120 Hz refresh rate.

Another one of the models would have a 46 MP sensor, 20fps, with a viewfinder and refresh rate similar to that of the models already mentioned.

Canon EOS R3/R5S

Canon EOS R3/R5S will be a 90 MP, full-frame mirrorless camera aimed specifically at still photographers. The brand is expected to officially announce it February or March 2021. Now this could’ve been the case during the CP+ but since that has been cancelled as well then it might be a virtual launch.
