An entrepreneur and a graceful dancer, Sandhya Raju reveals how Kuchipudi transformed her into a better person.
Sandhya Raju, a renowned Kuchipudi dancer wears many hats with ease and humility. Her performance in the short film Natyam, produced in 2016 to mark the International Dance Day, won her many accolades. Sandhya runs the ‘Nrishinkala Academy’, a Kuchipudi dance school in Hyderabad that strives to preserve the authentic style while introducing new methods to keep up with the changing times. In a chat with ParentCircle, Sandhya discusses her passion for dance, her teaching style and how dance has helped her.
