Brooksville DAR award winners
The Outstanding Student of American History award was presented to Anna Snow, daughter of Bente and Josh Snow. During the school year, Anna was on the High Honor Roll, the Cross-Country team, and the Yearbook staff.
The DAR Youth Citizenship Award which emphasizes a person’s honor, service, courage, leadership, and patriotism was presented to Maranda Pert, daughter of Carrie Snow. During the school year, Maranda participated in Civil Rights Leadership, Band, and was a national level Junior Olympian in Track and Field. She also was on the Cross-Country, Soccer and Basketball teams and coached Pee Wee Basketball.
