Bid To Prevent Further Trauma During Probe

Kochi: The Kerala high court on Thursday sought the opinion of lawyers on steps to prevent further traumatization of survivors of sexual assault during the process of investigation.

Justice Devan Ramachandran asked lawyers to make submissions on the issue during the next hearing on the petition of a sexual assault survivor, who has alleged that the station house officer and a civil police officer of Thrikkakara police station here are colluding with the accused, forcing her to go into hiding to protect herself.
