Engineering will soon be taught in Gujarati, Punjabi and Odia. A year after the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) launched engineering in Indian regional languages such as Hindi, Marathi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Bengali, other states have approached the apex body to include their state languages too.
