City Police Reserve Goregaon Hotel For +ve Cops With Mild Symptoms

Mumbai: Policemen with mild symptoms of Covid-19 need not worry about finding a place to isolate themselves any longer. The department has reserved all rooms of a hotel in a western suburb to accommodate such personnel, so that their families do not risk catching the infection.

A senior IPS officer said, “Those suffering from mild symptoms or those who are asymptomatic are required to be home quarantined. But a majority of the constabulary lives in cramped quarters and has no separate room for isolation. They are constantly worried about passing the infection to their spouse or parents.”
