Hyderabad:

Azharuddin took up the appointment of the ombudsman in late 2019. The matter was discussed in the apex council on March 16, 2020. Secretary R Vijayanand had also written to Justice (retd) Deepak Verma for his consent. In June that year, the apex council decided to appoint Justice Verma as ombudsman subject to ratification at the AGM.
