TRS plenary demands BC ministry at Centre and caste enumeration

The TRS plenary on Monday adopted a resolution demanding a ministry in at Centre for BCs and asked the BJP government to take up BC caste enumeration.

Hyderabad: The Telangana assembly had recently adopted a resolution demanding BC enumeration.

The party adopted as many as seven resolutions during the 20th plenary. This is the first time in the past seven years since Telangana was formed, however, that resolutions were passed against the Centre and demands were made. While introducing the resolutions, TRS floor leader in the Lok Sabha Nama Nageshwara Rao said there were several promises made by the Centre which were not kept. He was seconded by Chevella MP Ranjit Reddy.
