Bio E gets $50 million boost from US-DFC to up vaccine output

Hyderabad: The US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), the US government’s development finance institution, will be extending financial assistance to the tune of $50 million (Rs 375 crore approx) to Biological E Ltd as part of the Quad’s efforts to equip the Hyderabad-based vaccine maker with enough capacities to manufacture over 1 billion doses of Covid-19 vaccines by 2022 end.
