Ghaziabad: BKU leader Rakesh Tikait on Saturday listed a set of demands other than the repeal of the new central farm laws to reiterate from his protest base, UP Gate, that the sit-in agitation would continue.

Tikait returned to UP Gate early in the day — he was away in Maharashtra when the Prime Minister announced on Friday that the new laws farmers had been agitating against for a year would be repealed — and demanded the formation of a committee to address all farmer-related issues.
