The Public Works Department (PWD) has been waiting for the land to construct the 3.5km stretch from Sarai Kale Khan to Mayur Vihar-I, which will give a signal-free ride from east Delhi to AIIMS.
“The last date of written submission regarding the project is January 20, after which the final acquisition of the land will be complete,” said Vishwendra, district magistrate, South East district, who is overseeing the land acquisition process.
