Lodhi Garden among 4 parks in for big upgrade

The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) plans to develop four major parks —Lodhi Garden, Nehru Park, Sanjay Park and Talkatora Garden — as world-class facilities and will hire a consultant for the purpose. The Smart City project is expected to be completed in FY 2022-23.

NDMC vice chairman Satish Upadhayay said while parks and gardens in the NDMC area are already developed and popular among morning walkers, the project will aim to make the facilities match international standards.
