CBSE keeps truncated syllabi, but splits it; experts don't approve step

Educators Point Out Anomalies In Division, Say Important Chapters Left Out

New Delhi:The batch of students that will appear for the board exams next year will have the same syllabus that was truncated last year. This time, CBSE has also divided it into two terms as per the new assessment policy. However, teachers have pointed out issues in the division for some subjects like maths. Many schools have also already covered topics that are now part of the second term.

For the 2022 board exams, the first term will end in November-December and the other in March- April. There will also be three periodic tests, student enrichment, portfolio and practical work, speaking-listening activities along with projects.
