LONDON • Malala Yousafzai, who at 17 became the youngest-ever Nobel Peace Prize laureate, was married in England on Tuesday, more than nine years after she was shot in the head by the Taliban as a teenager.
Ms Yousafzai, 24, married Mr Asser Malik at a small Islamic ceremony, she said on Twitter. Both of their families attended the ceremony in Birmingham, England.
Mr Malik is a manager for the Pakistan Cricket Board, according to his LinkedIn page. He graduated in 2012 from Pakistan’s Lahore University of Management Sciences.
