Someone who works out to look good in a suit is going to be vastly different from one who trains to be a powerlifter.
In the motoring world, the Lexus’ F Sport line is the former. It dresses up a car with sporty accessories, which do not really make it go faster. A number of other carmakers do the same, such as Mercedes-Benz’s AMG Line and BMW’s M Sport.
F is Lexus’ equivalent of AMG and M. Also think steroidal speedsters such as the Lexus RC F and the phenomenal LFA.
Lexus has applied the F Sport trim to several of its models and, now, the facelifted ES saloon is the latest to have the treatment.
The car gets a rear spoiler, a dark lower valance, F Sport emblems and bigger 19-inch wheels in glossy black to match the car’s menacing grille. The grille and headlights of the facelifted ES get a new design.
