Games today

(DHVSU Gym, Bacolor)

2 p.m. – NorthPort vs San Miguel Beer (SMB leads best-of-three series, 1-0)

4:35 p.m. – Rain or Shine vs Magnolia (Magnolia leads best-of-three series, 1-0)

Rampaging TNT blitzed into the 46th PBA Philippine Cup semifinals and obliterated Barangay Ginebra’s title repeat bid in its wake.

The top-seeded Tropang Giga threw their full weight on the shorthanded No. 8 Gin Kings and came through with a masterful 84-71 romp to grab their deserved spot in the best-of-seven semis yesterday in Bacolor, Pampanga.

More than advancing, the Tropang Giga took great satisfaction in ending the reign of the Gin Kings, their conquerors in last year’s All-Filipino finals.
