RJ's 3-day marathon birthday sale, jam
The Philippine Star|June 04, 2020
Ramon “RJ” Jacinto, the Philippines’ rock ‘n roll icon who blazed the trail for many bands and musicians, turned 75 yesterday, June 3. He is celebrating his birthday with a three-day TV marathon jam beginning tomorrow, June 5, until June 7.
RJ's 3-day marathon birthday sale, jam

RJTV (TV plus boxes, Sky cable 19, Cignal Channel 28, GSAT 58, Destiny Channel 30 and Free to Air Channel 29) and RJFM 100.3 will cover the three-day musical jam nationwide and musician friends will either zoom in their performances or do it live with RJ at Bistro RJ, Dusit Thani Hotel from 10 a.m. Friday till midnight Sunday.

The marathon jam will coincide with the legendary three-day birthday sale of RJ Guitar Center. “People save up for our birthday sale and we don’t want to deprive them of this just because of COVID. Instead of hourly increasing discounts, which make the people crowd in our stores, we will just sell all items at 40percent off all day for three days so no need to rush and crowd. The people need a musical lift so we are going on with the sale”, RJ said in a statement. The sale will be online in Lazada and Shopee and also in the stores.
