Pasay Seeks More Time For MGCQ Shift

Amid the rising cases of COVID-19 in Pasay, Mayor Imelda Calixto-Rubiano said they would ask the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases for more time before shifting Metro Manila to the most lenient modified general community quarantine (MGCQ).

Pasay Seeks More Time For MGCQ Shift

Rubiano, who tested positive for the virus last month, said they need two more weeks to be able to study the community transmission of COVID-19 in the city.

“I think we should be given two more weeks for us to study our situation,” Rubiano said in an interview with “The Chiefs” on One News/TV5 on Tuesday night.
