Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala on Sunday condemned the lathi charge by Haryana Police on protesting farmers at Bastara toll plaza near Karnal a day earlier, which left around 12 injured. He said action will be taken against the IAS officer behind the operation. Farmers from Punjab also blocked highways across the state for two hours to protest the lathi-charge.
