Visit shrines with links to freedom struggle: PM Modi

PRIME Minister Narendra Modi while unveiling the statue of Adi Shankaracharya in Kedarnath on Friday urged people to visit the shrines and places which reflect the traces of struggle for freedom during the period of ‘ghulami’ (slavery).

“I want to make one more request to our fellow citizens. Do visit to our shrines and places which carry traces of our freedom struggle. Those who preserved our tradition and culture during the dark days must be paid homage,” said the PM.
