NEW DELHI: Union home minister Amit Shah on Monday sought report from Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb on police brutality allegedly faced by TMC workers.
In protest, a delegation of TMC leaders sat on a dharna outside the Ministry of Home Affairs over the alleged brutality and arrest of its youth leader in Tripura.
Shah met the delegation and told them that he has already sought a report from Deb over the issue.
