Nadda scans candidates, BJP holds talk with allies

BJP chief J P Nadda on Tuesday held discussions with the core group of the Uttar Pradesh unit led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to discuss the prospective nominees for the remaining seats in the state.

Later, the BJP on Tuesday released two more names — Chattarpal Singh from Baheri and Bahronlal Maurya from Bhojipura — for the polls. It had released the first list of 107 candidates on Saturday.
