INDIA'S DEVELOPMENT cannot be imagined without the crucial contribution of the southern states, Home Minister Amit Shah said Sunday as he addressed the 29th Meeting of the Southern Zonal Council in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.
The meeting of the Council, comprising Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Telangana, Puducherry, Lakshadweep, and Andaman and the Nicobar Islands, was hosted by Andhra Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy and attended by CMs and top officials of states.
At the meeting, Shah asked states to speed up the pace of second-dose vaccination.
