A DRUG addict has avoided going straight to jail for a back street robbery which left a man with a broken jaw and bleeding on the brain.
Heroin user Natasha Jones, aged 34, has been given a suspended prison sentence after her partner was locked up for the mugging.
Jones pushed the fellow drug user over so that he banged his head before Ashley Woodman rifled through his pockets late at night in Stonehouse, Plymouth Crown Court heard.
The 39-year-old was jailed for two years and eight months in July.
Serial robber Woodman is the son of Michael Woodman, who was jailed for life in 2006 for murdering his partner Julie Crocker two years earlier.
Jones's sentence was deferred and then delayed to see if she was suitable for drug testing and treatment.
