SCHUMACHER KEEN TO BRING IN A FRONTMAN

STEVEN Schumacher is ready to add another striker to his Plymouth Argyle squad should a suitable player become available.

The Pilgrims' boss already has 12-goal top scorer Ryan Hardie, Luke Jephcott, Niall Ennis and Jordon Garrick at his disposal.

Garrick, on a season-long loan from Swansea City, also has the versatility to play in either of the wingback positions while the other three are all out-and-out forwards.

One striker left Home Park this week when the short-term deal of Kieran Agard came to an end and he signed an 18-month contract with League One side Doncaster Rovers.

That departure led to Schumacher being asked about the possibility of another forward being added to his squad this month.

Schumacher said: “We have got a few weeks left yet until the end of the window. We don't just want to bring people in just for the sake of it.
