Navy Hails Its First Female Admiral

A CENTURY-old 'glass ceiling' in the Royal Navy has been shattered as Jude Terry has become the first female admiral in the service's history.

With the numbers, breadth of talent and experience of women in today's Royal Navy, she believes there will be many more women to reach the rank - and go higher.

After nearly 25 years of service around the globe and at home in the UK, the 48-yearold from Jersey takes the helm as Director of People and Training and Naval Secretary.
