MOTORISTS will face seven weeks of delays when essential work to upgrade part of the gas network in Plymouth is carried out The work by energy distribution firm Wales & West Utilities will keep gas flowing safely and reliably to local homes and businesses, keeping people warm for generations to come.
The firm has said that it will work as safely and as quickly as possible to finish the work, whilst keeping inconvenience to a minimum for local people and road users.
The works, which will begin in the Alexandra Terrace area of the city on January 10 and, barring any engineering difficulties, will be complete by March 4, will cause disruption to motorists.
