Journalist and TV presenter Ron Bendell dies at 67

POPULAR journalist and TV personality Ron Bendell has died at his home at the age of 67.

Mr Bendell was a broadcaster for much of his career, working as a weatherman for Westcountry TV and making a number of documentaries, among them the appropriately titled Three (Grumpy Old) Men in a Boat, with Craig Rich and Chris Denham - a take on the Jerome K Jerome novel.
