The League One club want to make their stadium one which the Green Army can be proud of and offer best possible experience for the fans on matchdays.
Apart from the recent multi-million pound overhaul of the Mayflower Grandstand, only essential maintenance has been carried out around the rest of the stadium since the three sides of the ‘horseshoe’ of Home Park were built in 2001-2002.
An Argyle statement issued read as follows: We are excited to reveal that the club will imminently embark upon a programme of planned stadium works to improve the look, feel, and visitor experience at Home Park.
As long-standing supporters will be aware, Home Park has not necessarily received appropriate levels of care and maintenance over its relatively short life.
