When Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodriguez announced the death of their newborn son, it showed the devastation losing a baby brings.
A statement from him on social media read: “It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away.
“It is the greatest pain that any parent can feel.
“Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness."
Cristiano, 37, and Georgina, 28, announced in October 2021 that they were expect Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguezing twins. The Manchester United player has an 11-year-old son from a previous relationship, he had twins via a surrogate mother in 2017, and shares a daughter with Georgina, born in 2017.
Their new baby girl brings the blended family to five children.
