Hobbs thrilled as Bath rediscovers best form

PLYMOUTH Parkway manager Lee Hobbs is delighted with the way that Tom Bath has responded to being out of the team with the striker bang in form and leading the club’s push for promotion.

Bath struggled to find his best form in the early part of the season and with Hobbs bringing Adam Carter back to the club and then signing Rhys Shirley on loan from Plymouth Argyle, the big summer signing found himself down the pecking order and out of favour.

A lack of goals had affected his confidence as well, so he headed to Willand Rovers on loan to get some minutes and look to recapture his best form. Now, after a brief stint at Silver Street, Bath is back at Bolitho Park and showing exactly why Hobbs made him a key signing in the summer with three goals in his last four games. However, it is not just the goals that have left an impression on the Parkway boss.

“Tom has three in four now and obviously I am delighted with how he has come back and performed for us,” he said.
