ARGYLE OWNER ADMITS HE JUST CAN'T STAY AWAY!

HALLETT'S GOT THE BUG

SIMON Hallett has admitted his involvement at Plymouth Argyle as owner and chairman has been a life-changing experience for him and his wife Jane.

The United States-based businessman is spending much more time than he anticipated travelling across the Atlantic to watch Argyle.

Hallett is currently on his latest visit to the UK and will return to America on Sunday after the men's and women's teams play away to Ipswich Town this weekend.

He and his wife will then be back for the final two games of the League One campaign, away to Wigan Athletic and at home to MK Dons, as the Pilgrims strive to clinch a play-off place.

Hallett first became a director of Argyle in 2016. He then took over as the club's owner from James Brent a couple of years later and funded the complete cost of the redevelopment of the Mayflower Grandstand.
