Covid 'hit me like a brick'

A MAN has shared his traumatic experience of contracting coronavirus and being rushed to Derriford Hospital via ambulance.

Chris said he started off with coronavirus symptoms and thought nothing of it'.

But when his Covid test came back positive, he says it 'hit him like a brick'.

In a video from his bed at Derriford Hospital, Chris explains the experience he had.

He said: “It started off with symptoms out of the blue and I thought nothing of it. I had my Covid test and it came back positive and it just hit me like a brick.
