A SPECIAL hub is set to open in the city centre next year to encourage Plymothians to engage with climate change.
Piloted by polar explorer Antony Jinman, the 'Our Planet Your Path' campaign has been raising funds to establish one of the first city centre Climate Hubs in the UK as a legacy of the Cop26 summit recently concluded in Glasgow.
With less than one week to go on its initial Crowdfunding campaign, the initiative has already raised more than £25,000. The money will be used to run the pilot Plymouth Climate Hub, making use of a vacant high street shop - the former Edinburgh Woollen Mill store in Armada Way - for six months next year.
