'LET'S GO BACK TO BED'IDEA TAKES OFF
ZHARA SIMPSON

A PLYMOUTH mother is making waves in the city with her epic 'breakfast boxes, inspired by lockdown and continuing into 2022.

Jessica Nevin started her business Let's Go Back To Bed in January last year, selling and delivering tasty food packages.

The 30-year-old from Plympton started shipping out the boxes as more of a gesture but has now turned the idea into much more of a full-time operation, after previously dabbling in make-up artistry and creating wedding backdrops.

Creating something completely new and different, Jessica's food deliveries took off in 2021, and now she is launching breakfast boxes that can be made for two people or a family.

They include croissants, selection pastries, muffins, doughnuts, brownies, flapjacks and strawberries, and Jessica said she asks customers what their favourite chocolate is to include as a personal touch.

A LONGER LOAN FOR YOUR CAR? BAD IDEA

The traditional “20/4/10 rule” of car buying states that you should make a 20% down payment, have a loan no longer than four years, and a total monthly car budget that does not exceed 10% of your take-home pay. But the reality is only 6% of new car shoppers actually followed that advice in March, according to sales data. The average loan term for a new or used car has steadily increased over the last decade and is now about 70 months.
