Argyle injury update on Bolton and Grant

Bolton suffered an ankle injury in a tackle with Ipswich Town’s Sone Aluko in the early stages of the Pilgrims’ 1-0 defeat at Portman Road last Saturday.

That led to the 27-year-old eventually being substituted later in the first half and replaced by Romoney Crichlow, the loan signing from Huddersfield Town.

Grant missed the match against Ipswich due to a groin injury, with Steven Sessegnon playing at wingback instead of him.

Schumacher gave updates on Bolton and Grant ahead of Argyle’s clash with Oxford, who are five points behind them but have one game in hand on them.

On Bolton, Schumacher said: “He got a kick on his ankle. We sent him for an X-ray on Monday and there was no damage.
