Agard celebration was for his tennis playing daughter
The Herald|December 21, 2021

His four-year-old daughter, Myla, was at Home Park for the League One game against Charlton Athletic and she had asked him to celebrate in a particular way if he grabbed a goal.

Myla plays tennis and wanted her Dad to act as if he was swinging a racquet, so he did that when he hit the target in first-half stoppage time.

Agard, signed by former Argyle manager Ryan Lowe in September on a short-term deal, had been called up by new boss Steven Schumacher to lead the attack with Ryan Hardie against Charlton.

When Hardie had a low angled shot kicked away by Charlton's keeper Craig MacGillivray in added-on time the ball rebounded out to Agard.

The 32-year-old, who has been badly hampered by injury over the past couple of years, took aim and his shot went in off the inside of MacGillivray's right post.
