FARMERS NOT TO GO HOME TILL ALL DEMANDS ARE MET

The crowds of farmers and trade union workers that swelled at Delhi’s borders on completion of one year of their struggle on Friday showed they won’t go home until all their demands are met.

Their uppermost demand now is to enact a law in Parliament’s winter session to guarantee the minimum support price (MSP) and resumption of work in all mandis (wholesale markets) across the country.

The leaders of the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) that spearheaded the farmers’ movement non-violently on the Gandhian lines are to meet at Sindhu border of Delhi on Saturday to decide the future course.
