The Centurions had put up plucky fights in their last two defea t s , fo l lowing the departure of head coach John Duffy.
But this was an embarrassing capitulation against a Hull side who only had 18 fit players ahead of the game.
Caretaker Leigh coach Kurt Haggerty said: “We just weren’t at it today. We let their big men run riot.
“We could probably come up with 100 reasons but no solution – but there are no excuses from us.”
Leigh have now lost all 11 Super League games but Haggerty vowed: “We will keep moving forward. We will pick out the good things and address some issues.”
