An inter-city gang war is threatening to erupt amid a spate of fatal shootings and stabbings at illegal lockdown raves.

Tensions are rising between gangsters from Manchester’s notorious Moss Side and self-styled “soldiers” aligned to Birmingham’s feared Burger Bar boys .

Detective believe armed gangs from the West Midlands city are trying to muscle into the Manchester area to find new markets for their Class A drugs.

Two men were killed at an illegal dance party in a Moss Side car park two weeks ago.

Abayomi Ajose, 36, and Cheriff Tall, 21, were shot at close range.

Reprisals

It is believed Abayomi, a support worker and father of three, stepped in to help Cheriff after he became embroiled in an argument with the gunman.
