Paradise Isle Covering Up My Rape Hell

A BRITISH woman who claims she was raped on a holiday island two years ago fears her case will end in a cover-up when it finally gets to court.

Natasha Golding, 44, has been told she will NOT be called as a witness when her alleged attacker, tour guide Mamadu Seidi, goes on trial next year.

If she does attend she will have to pay £8,000 for flights to Cape Verde and hotels and will NOT have any rights in the courtroom.

Natasha, from Leeds, told the Sunday People: “I’ve not even been given a date for the trial. It feels like it’s been a cover-up from beginning to end.

“I can go into court but I won’t be called as a witness and they won’t be speaking English. I won’t have any rights, my presence would be redundant.”

Natasha, a legal consultant who has waived her right to anonymity, added: “The whole affair stinks.

“I know how I’ll be portrayed, as a drunken woman on holiday looking for a good time.
