Two men have been arrested on suspicion of GBH after a worker woke to find the word “nonce” tattooed on his head.
Labourer Edward Murray, 34, says his body was daubed with several crude homemade tattoos while he dozed after a heavy drinking session.
And he says the attack has left him “shocked and sickened”. Police say the damage is so severe he will need surgery to remove it.
Edward said he drank several beers after visiting a house in Nassington, Northants, and then passed out.
He recalls becoming aware of a buzzing close by and the sensation that something was digging into his skin but felt no pain.
