I want to party like it's ... 2012

ANDY MURRAY reckons the best grass-court and hard-court wins of his career have come in the Olympics.

That might come as a surprise to many tennis fans, who’d have imagined his fondest memory on grass would have been his first Wimbledon win in 2013.

In beating Novak Djokovic, the Scot finally ended what had been a 77-year wait for a British winner in the men’s singles final at the All England Club.

But as he started to ramp up his preparations for his third Olympics, this time in Tokyo, Murray singled out the men’s singles finals at the 2012 Games in London, also on Centre Court, and the 2016 Games in Rio as his biggest wins on those two particular surfaces.

Speaking to Amazon Prime Video Sport, Murray said: “My favorite memory on grass, I would say, is the Olympics, the Olympic final in 2012.

“It was just the whole thing.
