A MAN dubbed the Hollywood Ripper has been sentenced to death for butchering two women – including the girlfriend of Hollywood actor Ashton Kutcher.
Michael Gargiulo stabbed 22-year-old Ashley Ellerin 47 times as she was getting ready for a date with Kutcher, who was then a rising 23-year-old comedy star.
He called at the fashion design student’s home to pick her up for their date in 2001 unaware she lay dead inside.
The actor told Gargiulo’s LA trial in 2019 he peered through the window of her Hollywood bungalow when she did not answer the door and saw what he thought were red wine stains on the floor.
