Kalvin's set for big-screen test in front of pals

Last time, he was sitting inside his own place in front of a big screen with his mates, watching and cheering on Gareth Southgate’s boys at the 2018 World Cup.

In three short years, Phillips has now gone from the living room to living it.

The 25-year-old can barely believe it. And neither can his pals who need to find a new gaff to watch the games.

Phillips has burst onto the England scene after a superb season at Leeds United and Southgate has rewarded him.

The midfielder is set to win his ninth cap in nine months against Croatia today.

It’s a remarkable turn of events for the popular Elland Road ace.

Phillips said: “My friends are mad England supporters and they were all round at my house watching the World Cup.
